Things I am thankful for:
My wife - For knowing that life is about happiness, and not material things. For always having a sense of wicked humor to match my own. For loving Fakku just as much as I do.
My family - For not being crazy or demanding, and actually cool to hang out with.
My job - It may not be super awesome, or pay absorbent amounts, but it has been consistent even through the recession.
Last(but not least) Fakku - For keeping me entertained while in the dog house. :D

Hmmm... Well I'm alive, so I'm thankful for that. Also pretty thankful that my PhD in Mechanical Engineering is finally veering away from moisture damage to working with lithium batteries (where all teh monies at). You all have a happy New Years.

I am thankful for being born in a day and age with our level of technology and freedom and for being born in a country that allows me to utilize them to such a great extent.
At the same time I am depressed that I am born in a day and age where there is still so much ignorance, stupidity, hatred and intolerance. I am also despondent that I cannot do much of anything to help the situation.
I am optimistically hopeful for the future, but realistically pessimistic.

Well om mostly thankfull for being alive. The fact that i got a family and friends that helped me out during my... well... lets call it unlucky times, helped me grow to who and what i am, and its thanks to them im alive the day today. Never underestimate the power of friends :)

First off I have to say that I'm thankful for this site. I've recommended it to a couple of my stressed out otaku friends. :) I'm also thankful for my family. I love the holidays because they bring us together for at lest a day or two. I'm thankful for my amazing and nerdy friends. I am so happy that I'll have another great year to spend with them.
