I am pleased to announce that FAKKU! has been purchased by Danny Choo! From this point forward he will personally be handling all of the site updates and has hired me to work for his company Mirai Inc. Of course, being a long time fan of his blog, this is truly an honor (especially since he has offered to cover all of the expenses moving me to Japan to work with him in person).
It was never my intention for this site to get as large as it has in the last several years. In fact, I never expected FAKKU! to last more than a few months. But once I started to see how much it was flourishing, I decided to stick with it. Figured I'd make a profit some day. After years of pouring all of my money into the site and not seeing a dime, the opportunity has finally presented itself. Both HentaiKey and Danny Choo have both expressed interest in purchasing the site I've worked so hard on. It's about time my hard work paid off. Now, being the kind-natured person I am, I didn't want to see FAKKU! fall into the hands of HentaiKey, so I went with the other choice... hopefully Danny will take FAKKU! in new and exciting directions.
As a result of the change in operations, all of the current staff members (Raze, Nikon, Gambler, Mike, Mattarat, Hibia, and Teclo) are relieved of their positions, effective immediately. It's not that they're not good people... it's just that as a condition of being hired by Danny Choo, I have to eliminate the remainder of the administration and moderation staff. Seems like a fair trade-off.
Well there isn't much more to be said; my bags are packed and I have a plane to catch within the hour. So long FAKKU! Gambatte!
