Any Dota players?

anyone heard of Team Flow? Just wondering

im assuming you are trying to connect to battle.net. If so, you cannot connect unless you are using a legit copy of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.

And to clarify stuffs, i have 3 versions of Warcraft III installed in my comp atm (1.20e, 1.21 and 1.23), so i can play with ero and naoto in Garena, my malaysian friends in garena and in Bnet xD

Wow dota huh!? i don't play much but i know the basics ^^ Garena is a great place to practice if your starting, as for me i'll be fighting AI's. Great way to boost moral :D (if you know what i mean) :D

So Dota 6.60 is out and I've only played one game (as Tauren Chieftan) and I sucked it up...Can anyone give some advice on how to place this guy or how is spells and abilities are supposed to support each other?

Arcane ring + blink. TO be honest he has 3 stuns. One of the that activates randomly by chance when a skill is used. Soooo, you blink in, do that power up (hopefully procs a stun) then Ulti, run's away? an other stun with that range one. Basically it. :3

He's only got the one stun?...

Either way, knowing that his spirit form can also cast that aoe stun helps me understand his abilities a lot more.

Yeah,that's his tanking skill,u know .
But,I still prefer Batrider and Razor .
Since Batrider has Flaming Lasso,which could kidnap you in seconds .
Then,its gasoline helps you to burn them alive .

i've just notice that you were talking about. I didn't know about the new hero when I posted before -.-; So yeah,previous post is completely useless...unless for Earthshaker XD;;

The synergy is for Tauren is supposed to be Ancestral Spirit -> Echo Stomp (with the spirit) -> Earth Splitter. This seems the best order to use your spells. Earth Splitter is stupid dangerous in group fights doing 35% of the victim's TOTAL hp and slowing for 50% for 5 seconds.

EDIT: I just played a game with Tauren that unforuntaly only lasted 15 minutes, but that is DEFINITELY how he is supposed to be played. Spirit (make sure the spirit is close and behind the enemy) -> Stomp (w/ Spirit) -> ult (they will almost always get hit if the stomp hit. This is a stupid powerful combination and I can't even describe how much I owned that game. And I only had Arcane Ring, Boots, and a bracer. :roll:

I play dota at Local Bnet server

I just watching my friend use Tauren. He often got triple kill (or one kill at least) when there's team gangbang (5v5) (though both team got same skill on playing dota).
I think Tauren skill must be reduced for balancing.

tauren is imbalanced,since he just got the farming and tanking skills .
Btw,do u know the Viper's skills?

But,I was really surprised with Razor's skills .
Dangerous and ganking my heroes .

Viper's Nethertoxin (add damage based on current HP enemy target, less HP more damage) halve effect on structures and creeps. I prefer this skill than before, I rarely upgrade Frenzy cause it will deplete mana quickly when Poison Attack is active.

but,it's still doesn't make any sense for me .
I still prefer Venomancer for a great poison effect .

Nethertoxin isn't poison element, it's just simply add more damage.

Venom indeed have aoe poison effect and good for team gangbang. comparing to Viper with one-target skill good for dueling or chasing.

speak of agi-range there are great disadvantage with low HP, but viper have Corosive Skin that can make enemy hard-to-chase and slightly spell resistant. Equip it with Vanguard/Poor Man Shield can make it hard-to-hit either.

Vanguard? Lol no, maybe in em games.

I usually go with S&Y with Viper.

s&y is always good with lots of heroes who doesn't have orbs .

but,I'm really disappointed with vanguard .
It add the possibility into 70%,but to block 20 damage ?
Did they think that the item is imbalanced ?
