Well, apparently, France (where I lived before), is just that expensive. Probably the most expensive place in Europe to live right now, aside from Norway.

Plus, even when it costs much, yen to Euro exchange rate is still broken. By European standards I'm somewhere in "relatively poor" zone, but my money is worth that much more in Japan. The irony.
