That's not a legitimate representation of the entire movement. Remember the protesters in Dallas? They were being peaceful, even chatting with the police. The group itself denounced the attacks, including while the attacks took place in real time.

On a side note, I think some people may think the name "Black Lives Matter" infers that only black peoples' lives matter. I personally think the group would be better off calling themselves something like "Black Lives Matter Too" or "Black Lives Also Matter." Names like those would be a better way of conveying their message.
