[So, I heard there was a reunion going on? I am AlexanderTheNine. I asked for my original account to be deleted about six years back, and a year or two after that I created this account, which I used briefly. I joined in late 2008, initially. While there were certainly good and bad experiences, signing up for Fakku set me on an important path that allowed me to meet many people, like the fine chap that posted a few before me. I, too was part of The Randomsquad. I was one of the last people to join, but I've been part of it since, soaring the web on different websites, and even creating my own and overseeing it for about a year. I reiterate that without Fakku, I would never have found such a wonderful group of friends. My life has been changed for the better. While I keep in contact with many people, I often think about a few people I met here that I miss, such as DxT [was short for something I cannot remember], ShaggyJebus, and Midgar. You were always a polite and fine moderator, Gambler. I am honored to heed your calling]
I'm late it seems.
You're actually still around?
Nah, I'm dead.
You were a good friend, and I miss the Chatango group.
I’m gonna take a page out of Teg†˜s book and †žHi and Bye“ this.
Hey, apparently I’m on the twelve year train.
I have been through a lot in the years I’ve been gone. A lot of relationship drama, a few moves across the country and back, NY > UT > NC > NY, changed careers completely into food service, which is now my big boy job, almost died in a car wreck where I broke my femur and shattered my hip, and now I’m settle back into being able to work again in the last week.
During Covid I traveled the entire east coast back packing, star watching, camping, canyoneering, and rock climbing, and hiking; really got back to my outdoor roots. It’s weird that I kinda miss that freedom. I’ve been a transient without a permanent place for about six months now. I’m finally settling back into a schedule of sorts and a permanent place. At least for a while.
It’s crazy that all of the pervs on this site used to be so close to me and we’ve now scattered ourselves to the wind. I only really talk to one person from here even semi-regularly and it is slightly irritating that I let it get this far away from me. I log in to check up about twice a year just to see the degradation and progression. It’s funny how years away from it all affect your mind. I see PMs are going to be a thing of the past, but before they do, if anyone wants to reach out and connect, PM me.
Best of luck, Comrades ✌ðŸ¼

In the past 4 years... my mom died, I'm living in an apartment my uncle is paying for, I scrub puppy shit at a pet store for $11 an hour, and I'm slowly sliding toward a mental breakdown.
My dude, if this is real, my heart is with you. I’ve been through some shit recently.

Unsolicited update time!
I am married. We live in a house. We don't like it, so we are going to move to a nicer (new) house. We have a cat, he is very stupid and adorable. I still work as a software engineer. I still love baking and can now make great snickerdoodles and red velvet cake. I haven't watched anime in almost 4 years, but not because I quit it, just kind of fell off. I got pulled into board games and they're really fun, I have a group I play with regularly. (Well, less regularly than if Covid wasn't an issue.)
It was pretty interesting to read everyone's updates from the past few years... it's what inspired me to write mine. Glad to hear many of you are doing well. To those who aren't, I hope it gets better!
Anyway, bye for now. 👋
Same here, board games are an addiction. Clank, dominion, terraforming Mars, etc.
