I think I promised you a story yes?
Yes that's right ^w^
Twas a zen story, from a Shinto priest.
It tells of two disciples, that liked to smoke a cigarette from time to time, and that got told off regularly by the priests.
One day, they were called upon by the master, separately. The first tells his master: "Sensei, may I meditate when I smoke?".
The master erupts in anger, and chases the disciple out of his rooms.
Later that day, he comes by the second disciple, smoking calmly by the pond. He asks him "Haven't you gone to our sensei?" "I have." Answered the other disciple. "And he did not chastize you or get angry at you for smoking?" "No." said the disciple, taking another puff. "But then what did you tell him?"
The disciple takes a long breath from his cigarette, exhales and, watching the calm water, says "May I smoke when I meditate?".
