I agree that this will can only end in great bloodshed. Neither of the two big boys have taken their knives out yet, but their hands are mighty close to their pockets...It worries me, especially considering the other eastern European countries and northern countries.
An extreme view of things would be making the parallel with Czechoslovakia in the second war. Though other countries aren't doing nothing, they are effectively doing "nothing" apart from issuing sanctions.

If countries stopped their conquests because of dire economic strains, most wars would effectively cease. But of course, that is almost never the case which the great West doesn't seem to realize.
Not gonna trade with Russia anymore? Fine, he'll just go to some other country. You know, that one that produces over two thirds of the world's exports, has the US on a growing leash of debt and is home to the largest army with the an equally large budget to boot. I think it was Burma?
Matter of fact, I think the American citizens are gonna suffer the most out of the sanctions. The firearm recreationalists mostly, they're already straining from rising staple ammo prices. When they can't get shipments of cheap ex-Soviet 5.45x39mm 7n9, oh boy are they gonna hate the ATF.
I'll be honest, I have no idea where I was going with any of that. . .
Now then, its time for dinner here so I'll take my leave. Actually will be doing some other stuff around the base afterwards so won't be back till next day or the next one after that. All of you enjoy yourselves.

Actually on that subject the polish recently unveiled a cloaked tank, that is invisible to thermal vision and that has optic camouflage.
Pretty nifty but then again a machine of war.

Ah yes, things are getting rather exciting there. Even the soldiers are becoming insubordinate to the new government. Where things go from there is not known but for sure it will contain bloodshed.
Whether the government decides to increase it's brutality have have its men shoot their comrades and protesters alike or the protesters continuing their onslaught, fueled by revenge for their casualties. And then when Russia and/or NATO finally decide to put boots on the ground and join the playing field. Good luck when that comes, all you in Europa.
I hope NATO and UN start to act how its supposed to function. Since all i can see is they giving Russia a green light to do whatever it pleases.
