The conflict in Ukraine is definitely moving forward though, it would seem the Pro-Russian protesters are out for blood now what with them two dead politicians coming to light. With that, the current regime is gonna resume its 'counter-terrorism' operation which will clearly end with more bloodshed and possibly an escalation of conflict which may be Russia's opportunity to drop boots on the ground.

All in all, the cogs are moving smoothly towards a bloody finale. Hard to find any news outlets that doesn't give a biased viewpoint for either side, unfortunately.

IT will end in bloodbath that much is certain. Unless UN and NATO decide to stop being afraid of something and actually do something.

I wished UN sent peacekeepers there as soon as situation became hot. Would have foiled the annex of Crimea peninsula and put a serious hole in Russias plans.

Personally, I would've preferred if they acted from when the first riots got ugly. The US has a pragmatic but arguably wrong way of discerning good.

I believe there was a plan to send UN observers into the region, no objections came from either side but heard no further news after that. Despite whether or not this is all a ploy contrived by the Russians, the West's actions(when they've bothered to do anything) haven't really done much work to rectify the issue.

Time to find some dinner.

It most likely is but we need more than just speculation before we can decide to call it fact.

The West's complacency is what landed them in this shit situation. If this were a ploy from Russia, they'd probably had this planned since the former Ukrainian regime's attempts at the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement. Nobody in the West bothered to do anything about Euromaidan and all Russia had to do was twiddle his thumbs until he finally had reason to make a move.

Anyway, I'm just getting frustrated talking about this. Time for me to get dinner. Them guys finally stopped dicking around to go eat as well.
