It's always tricky to recommend something to someone whose tastes you're not quite familiar with, but based on the two nice waifu choices I know more, maybe Coppelion, Gingitsune, Isshuukan Friends., Kemono no Souja Erin, RDG: Red Data Girl, Sakasama no Patema, Seirei no Moribito, Selector Infected WIXOSS, Suisei no Gargantia, Summer Wars, Telepathy Shoujo Ran, Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta, Uchuu no Stellvia, and from the manga side, Taiyou no Ie and Tonari no Kashiwagi-san.
That became much more than I expected...
