since its launch so console have had minor issues, like every other console that that gets released, i rather wait until all the bugs have worked out.

If only I had the money... Luckily so far the office computers have been enough, but seeing how some of the newest games I can't even run on my own machine here and have to use another, I really do need to actually get one of my own at some point. Still over a year of paying back the money I borrowed for buying the apartment ahead, though, so can't really see this happening before that is done.

You can buy consoles that emulate other consoles though.

It might have helped the gaming community and introduce mom and pa to gaming and wider audience as well, but for whatever the fuck the cost of it was?

Latest consoles are nothing but special form factor PC, only limited in what they do. I might as well spend that money on better CPU and a GPU and still have more powerful/useful rig than the console.

I wouldn't mind consoles if they were plug and play, but with development riddled with more bugs than the area underneath the rock I might as well consider that thing to be dead and exclusive to older generation of gaming consoles.

There is more issues with gaming development in general but fuck that cesspool. Let the industry crash like 1983, maybe we see some bloody fixes.

I spend more time with the games created by small development teams/companies because they churn out somewhat of a quality.

This console generation smells of desperation.

Hell, the consoles this generation were not made to be powerful, but to be cheap. So they slammed more RAM on it cause sticks of it don't cost much. Not with the rates they are buying them.

However, because of that result, we might see some games that utilize more RAM. But from the looks of it, it will not be happening anytime soon.

And if someone brings up exclusive games, they might as well jump off from a proverbial cliff after it, where I have thrown it in.

If you hold a game as an exclusive to a system, you might as well FUCK OFF with it, because in my brain and reality, that game DOES NOT EXIST. And if it does exist, it's a fucking hostage to a console.
