Final fantasy is confusing, did have a work friend talk me through some of it, just need to find some dude at the market and listen to them to complete the quest.

no.Thats why you think its so confusing for you. Not only do you have to learn FF14 itself, but you have to learn all of the typical ways that all mmorpgs work. Don't give up
