Oh, well, there are still other trackers around. Main problem are the minor subbers that have no sites of their own and never submitted their torrents to TT, hard to find any new releases from those.

let them fade to obscurity. Let the circle work and let the companies try to figure out why their profit margins are shit.

Well, most groups have normally lived there anyway. So if we really should lose nyaa, maybe other anime trackers as well, it will be most likely the one distribution channel still left. We even already have a precedent for this in the form of some scanlation groups going IRC-only after takedowns on MediaFire and other file sharing sites.
