Looks like I need a new mouse soon, this one is starting to double-click instead of a single click occasionally as well...

Dismantle and clean.

Mouse has no screws or anything you can physically undo to take it apart.

Check under the pads. Screws are usually hidden there. Or put a knife between pieces and pry open the latches inside.

Wouldn't hurt to try as well, I guess. If it helps, it saves me money. If it doesn't and somehow makes things worse, I was going to buy a new one anyway.



While not immediately visible, apparently this one has them hidden under the feet.

I'm gonna upgrade to a wireless soon, I'm using one I stole from work currently lol

Don't really care for wireless myself.

And doing pretty much the opposite here - using a mouse I bought myself at work. Mom actually offered me to let the company pay for it, but I just didn't find it reasonable for it to pay for a gaming mouse when they could have simply replaced the old one with a much cheaper regular one.
