Actually, gamers themselves don't know about birdshot. Only couple of games have it and no mainstream game actually gives a fuck about it. Cause slug and explosive and dragon breath ammo is cooler.

Plus i don't play FPS.
My knowledge of guns come from TV, a fair amount comes from mythbuster and documentaries and other knowledge comes from TV shows like CSI, Law and order. And then there is data for more info.
This how i know birdshot, buckshot, full metal jacket, hollow points, there different size bullets, Tracer rounds.
