You're welcome. I admit I was being a dick for the sake of being a dick. Congrats for catching on.
I'm sure it was just that, I mean, psychological study totally teaches us that people do things just for the sake of doing them right? That there totally isn't a reason—conscious or sub-conscious—behind every action we take.

It's the 2nd one.
Gee I
never would have guessed, I don't suppose you think that's why I wrote
a paragraph in response to that item rather than a sentence or two?

You are lonely and somewhat enjoy video games (not enough to just play them yourself)

You don't care about the game itself
I'll take this as an owning up to your mistake of over-generalization.

I understand not having the time or dosh to buy and play every game you want. But why not just watch a playthrough with no dialogue? Don't you think the commentary takes away from the experience if it's not meant to be insightful? You don't want to interact with the game, you want to be engaged by some goofs playing video games.
You're assuming my own personal reasons for being interested in GG, this doesn't work because as a person you only have your own perception to go by and you definitely don't know enough about me to be able to put yourself in my shoes. You can only make unfounded and often wrong assumptions about my personality or why I enjoy certain forms of entertainment. Stupid people do that Cruz.
Do I think the commentary takes away from the experience because it's not insightful? No, I don't. There many parts of a game that are fairly boring to sit through if you're
not actually playing it, so the comedy and entertainment helps keep it interesting and believe it or not, adds to the experience. If people didn't think that it did add to the experience, it wouldn't be successful.

I does speak volumes about your taste in comedy though.
This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say you're narrow-minded. You make such huge assumptions about an entire category of someone's life or interests based on a single reference. It's just as bad as stereotyping someone a "nerd" or "jock" because of the way they look. Stupid people do that Cruz.
I enjoy everything from the upbeat, musical and flamboyant acts of Bo Burnham to the intelligent black comedy of Steve Hofstetter to the simple, tried and true works of Greek and Roman era playwrights. Hell, I even enjoy the immature and low-brow humour of South Park occasionally.
