The Salem witch trials weren't this bad.
>literally getting raped, beaten, and burned alive for being falsely accused
>having strangers on the internet say your thought is stupid
We should mark this day down in history as you were given this harsh, unrelenting punishment and yet still have the willpower to rebuttal those who think otherwise!
I actually read up on a paper about the Salem Witch Trials that it spawned from a woman acting a bit more defiantly then any of the other women in the town. It goes into detail of how her husband ended up dead from a weapon discharge, but since forensic science wasn't around, and the town blamed and tried her because it was known fact that she was unhappy with him and used religious reasoning to say that because of her unusual personality that she displayed, at the time period, and her unfaithfulness to her husband that she made the weapon fire and kill her hubsand even though there was evidence that he was murdered by someone else in the town who he went hunting with.
Good ol' Purtains
If a woman isn't super submissive then she's a witch and deserves to beaten, raped, burned, hanged or even lynched because they aren't from your religion and in their eyes, or in the eyes of some misled Purtains at the time, if you don't choose to follow their religion then you're pre-destined to go to hell and the Purtains can do anything they want to you without it being a sin because you're not one of "God's Chosen People."
