Wow, Japanese sounds pretty awesome. It's too bad that fakku is an English website and that Japanese doujins aren't translated. The majority of fakku's visitation comes from those who can understand English, not Japanese. If you think it's the other way around then you're dumb.
You know why? Because I'm extremely confident that there are Japanese websites that can host the same content.
Why do I become a pompous ass for reversing the situation? Uploading English doujin to a Japanese website sounds really dumb doesn't it? Because most Japanese people using that particular website can't read English or DON'T WANT TO LEARN IT.
The Japanese language is very easy read, so easy you have to pay a group of people to deal with it.. per doujin.. which is what? 5 paragraphs worth of text? Why can't this service be free if there are so many Forum warrior white knights coming to the rescue for material that will be ignored by the majority of mainly English reading visitors?
Quoting someone isn't hard. How can you not do something so easy?
What's the problem with their being non translated doujins? Sometimes the case is that site just wants to host a certain doujin, but there's not translation for it. I'm not sure the person you were replying to implied that this site was trying to cater to Japanese people, just the the works happen to be in Japanese.
Also you're not a pompous ass, definitely irritating and stupid though. Since the doujins and h-mangas originate in Japan, and written and drawn by mostly Japanese people, there really isn't a reason to host English translations that were probably done without the artist's permission.
Also you don't have to pay for doujins to be translated(it's illegal for them to accept anything but donations). A lot of the scanlators/translators are just guys and girls doing something on their free time for others. Learning Japanese isn't hard, it just takes an investment(time) most people don't want to put up with because they don't prioritize that for whatever reason.

Picking on me? What is this? The third grade?
It's a conversation and we have different opinions. :O Shocking isn't it?
That's exactly what you implied by bringing up the Salem Witch trials. Also you were the one who didn't want to hear different opinions.

It's not really ignoring your advice, I read it or I wouldn't have responded.
Did you really though? Like actually understand why he's telling you that, or did you just read it in a very superficial way?
