Ib has influence

on your perspective?


Pretty much a question I asked myself at some point. On one hand, there's a sharp and open mindset being produced by the individuals visiting ib. On the other, I know that everyone's a fucking deviant, and the more I engage with the community - the more edgy/fastidious I appear. But that's me being online, I can only presume what you peeps experience, and that's not the point.

Now what interests me is that, have you taken any lessons this place provided offline. Like, have you noticed yourself reacting to situations in the manner ib taught you?

Looking back at 2009 when I joined I can only thank the "harshness" in which this place treated the bs in my notions of sexuality, religion and overall societal behavior. Maybe the merit is not ib exclusive (and talking with people worldwide does that to you), but man did it treat the moralfag in me and made my stances more collected.

I occasionally call my friends faggots and am little bit more rational when it comes to dealing with the dramas bullshit one of them seems to crave. But other than that, not really.

Hmmm that's a good read. Anyway the community didn't turn me upside down, I'm still able to differentiate between common sense and the fuck is happening here. Just my horizons have shifted. Never said that I finished developing my values.
