Sadly no, I went to bed nearly 3 hours earlier than I usually would, and ended up waking up at 2am, going back to sleep and waking up at my normal time...and still I felt drained.

I'm like that all the time.
Never really been that big of a problem for me, I usually am able to at least get rested from sleeping...but lately not so much.

Could be the case, it would make sense I suppose. Although if that's the case, that means that you need to relax more if you're having this problem all the time yourself.
