So you want to stay up, which will make you tired thus leading to a terrible interview?
No, but I need to be up in order to accept a call saying that i'd love to have the second interview (should the call come) should the hiring manager ask me. I've never had a hiring manager tell me that they'd like to schedule and interview on the same day they called me, but there could always be a first.
In the worst case scenario, I will apply more visine to my eyes to make them look less red (which I already have and am glad to report they're clearing up rather nicely) and drink plenty of coffee.
It's better to be well rested than being exhausted for an interview. You could easily get a friend or alarm to wake you up.
Very true, but i'm not expecting an interview. I'm merely waiting to receive a phone call that would initiate the process of doing an interview (at a later date). By the off chance I was asked to drive all the way to the store for an interview, then I would certaintly make myself look as presentable as possible (Nothing a little make-up here and there cant fix.)
Thankfully in my life I've never got into the habit of drinking a lot of energy drinks and coffee, so when I do drink them their effectiveness is pretty high for me.
As for the alarm...Sadly, my alarm clock is somewhat... well, I should say that I myself tend to have a bad habit of sleeping through alarms when my fatigue levels are pretty high. Chances are that with nobody else present in this household for the rest of the day, I would sleep blissfully through it.
