[color=#ff0080]So you're saying for this:
Calus40:2938 (Zenny left)
Circe
TP: 4218 (calus' total posts, real posts, and rep at time of purchase??)
RP: 242
Rep: 9
Because if I cost 500 z, and he had 4218 + 9, doesn't that = 3727 he would have left??
I'm really bad at math so forgive me, but I'm sorry, I'm still confused about what the numbers are supposed to represent...
[font=verdana][color=green]This has been annoying me as well, so I decided to investigate this case.
From what I understand, Cal's reps come into play. As we know, 1 rep = 30z. So, 9 times 30 = 270z.
Now, let's add 270z to 4218z; we get 4488. 4488 - 500 = 3988. That's how much he should have left. But, there's a 1050z gap here. Just in case, let's take 270z away from 4218z; we get 3948. 3948 - 500 = 3448. There's a 510z difference here.
From what I can tell, the 2938z
has to be a mistake. You were bought fair and square and there was no auction. The system used for this thread is very untidy and unclear. It should be explained as well, rather than just listed like that. Maybe something like this would be better:
Person A (TP: XXXX. RP: XXXX. Rep: XXX)
Purchase 1: Cost XXXX
Person A (New TP, RP and Rep)
Purchase 2: Cost XXXX
Person A (New TP, RP and Rep)
It will highlight the change of TP, RP and Rep quite well, so if there are any mistakes, people could check for themselves.
