I have a tendency to choose the version that's said first with an exception to first gen.
G/S/C I got gold
R/S/E I got Ruby
D/P/Pt I got Diamond
R/B/Y I got blue cuz it's my favorite color xD

I just started playing the new game, but honestly, even tho it's greater than the previous versions in all aspects but the music... Music is kinda let down... I got a few enjoyable ones, but the rest are just forgettable... But I'm just starting so I might be wrong as the game advances~

Team Plasma's theme is pretty good, so is N's theme. I really love the Gym Leader theme whenever you get them down to their last Pokemon. I also like how the music changes when your Pokemon's low on health.

Today is an interesting day for me in the game... I didn't see even one Tynamo while I was going through this damn cave in White. Today doing the same in Black, I just ran into the third one. O_O

Did you go to the dream yard place off to the right of the town and get your elemental monkey? It'll be the opposite of your starter pokemon so it helps a lot for the first gym battle.
And on a side note, I LOVE this little guy
