Psycho Stalker? or just Misunderstood?

So, my classmate is stalking my best friend for four years now. He goes to her gym, goes to where she studies, goes to events (where she's at) that he's not invited to. We've been talking to him that it's creepy, and psycho and wrong, but he insists that my friend is just playing hard to get. She's frickin scared as shit but doesn't want to tell anyone, not even the professors. I've been constantly berating her that she has to tell someone, like an adult or maybe a professor, so the parents of the guy could be informed.... but she's not on good terms with either her parents, and she doesn't think that the professors can do anything. :/

I am laughing so hard because of OP and the replies to this thread
[size=2]though I feel like such a hypocrite because I've had several cases of people stalking me...[/h]
best thing to do is to be prepared and to wait out until the guy makes his 'move'
unfortunately the laws that are supposed to protect you and your friend, also protect these creepers
