Wow. A good riddle. It's been so long since I heard one that my riddle skills are failing me.
Let's see...Three brothers.
One turns to two.
You cannot see three, for he would become one or two.
If one turns to two, and three is not three, but either one or two, he must logically be two, since even if he was one, he would end up as two.
Thus, there are two brothers, One which became two, and three which cannot be observed, but still exists.. It cannot be one, for then they would not be brothers.
I'm sorta logic stuck for their names and locations, though.
three brothers are past present and future, and they dwell in the house of time
