Gameplay wise, Ar tonelico is not impressive, but it isnt unpleasant either. At2 is especially enjoyable, however many complained that it should be made harder.
Storyline and music, yes, very meaningful. You should experience it. If playing all three is a hassle, at least please play Ar tonelico 2.
^ I see. Thank you so much. I will keep that in mind. But I have to get a PS2 for that (not the more recent consoles).
What did you like about the story though? From what I have gathered, it is along the lines of many stories where the protagonist saves the world from some looming threat.
Or you can just play it on PC. We have a ps2 emulator.
What I like about it? First of all the music. The sounds are just out of this world, and for the hymmnos, the lyrics are even more beautiful. And in game, when the songs are played, the events accompanying them are just as great, the feelings contained in them...
I'm not certain anymore, but I think you once linked me to some AR2 MU links to get it, but I now realize that MU is down and hence those links are dead.
Not saying that I'd download them really soon. =P
But I'm getting a faster connection next month, so I thought that I could perhaps grab 'em next next month.
Personally, I'd rather play AR1 than 2... unless graphics is just too bad.
