Just being there physically doesn't mean they're helpful. And just because your online friends aren't with you doesn't mean they aren't helpful. Just saiyan.
If you lose your house in a fire, will an Internet friend offer you a shelter? If you need a job, can an Internet friend be your reference on your resume? When you're in emotional turmoil, do you want to read PMs on a forums, or talk with a someone face to face?
Never have I said that online friends aren't helpful, I'm just saying that real life should have priority.

I didn't say rl isn't more important. What I'm saying is that while it is more important, some of the wonderful things irl do start by online life. The rl > online attitude denies that possibility and that's why I find making clear distinctions between the two and dismissing one as unimportant wrong.
And to answer the question, well duh, because I want to marry her irl.
The very fact that you want to marry her IRL when you're already married here signifies that the importance of real life outweighs that of the Internet, and that's all I'm saying. As long as you understand this, that's pretty much it.
I don't think there's anything wrong setting the priorities right. It's not like it will affect anything. I put my studies ahead of watching anime. That doesn't deny me from watching them during the semester.
