I know. Sometimes I'm questioning how are these... wait, I can't say idiots, since I wouldn't like to lump myself with them... well, people, worth my anger.
Too bad I'm unable to ignore the irk so I might as well vent it instead of bottling it up. Can't say it's a bad idea, despite the annoyances I feel from time to time.
On the other hand, these annoyances are good. Being more bored than I already am will be difficult, and I'm not the kind that can smile over random shits so the irk is probably my life exerting itself.
You know, I would hold these studies in higher esteem if by 'individuals without mental disorders' they don't mean foolish livestocks that happen to look like people.
Maybe statistically there are more of those driven by herd instincts drones, but more of them won't make me recognize them as human any sooner...
Criminologist Nathalie Fontaine of Indiana University studies the tendency toward being callous and unemotional (CU) in children between 7 and 12 years old. Children with these traits have been shown to have a higher risk of becoming psychopaths as adults.
"We're not suggesting that some children are psychopaths, but CU traits can be used to identify a subgroup of children who are at risk," Fontaine said.
Yet her research showed that these traits aren't fixed, and can change in children as they grow. So if psychologists identify children with these risk factors early on, it may not be too late.
"We can still help them," Fontaine said. "We can implement intervention to support and help children and their families, and we should."
...whoa. And these are the same people who said they're not bigots. This shit is funny.
