Beyond the far, faraway other side of the heavens, there was someone that
loved and was worried for the moon.
The name of that Princess was Viena.
Her singing voice would cross the heavens, and reach the place where the
moon is.
However, Princess Viena was suffering.
She was suffering because she thought and felt too much about the moon.
And because of her excessive suffering, she put a curse in the sky.
As if it was for her singing voice to not reach the moon, she covered the
sky with clouds,
and Princess Viena became unable to look to the sky ever again.
She did not have to love and be worried for the moon anymore.
She did not have to sing her feelings to it anymore.
It was a land without sky.
In a very distant past, the sky of this land was covered by black clouds.
The people that lived under it became weak, and their crops also grew badly.
They were living under the pressure of the hunger.
No one trusted in each other.
And they believed that "this land is cursed".
Until a certain day, a Hero, to dispel that curse,
began to climb a very high, high Tower.
The more he went up in the Tower, the darker it became,
and the monsters he encountered also became more stronger.
Through his persistence in defeating them,
he finally reached the highest floor in the Tower.
However, what he saw in there was not a monster, nor a witch.
It was a beautiful princess.
The Hero asked the Princess:
"Are you the one that turned the sky into darkness?" to which the Princess
answered honestly with a nod of her head.
The Hero then asked again:
"Why you did this to sky?"
The Princess answered:
"Because I didn't want to degenerate into a witch,
because I will forget how the moon of my hometown was.
Because if I cannot see the sky, I will forget the pain that it has brought
me"
The Hero cried,
because he thought that this was something very painful.
"That is really what you wish to do?"
the Hero asked.
"It is futile to talk about it"
the Princess declared.
But still, the Hero did not leave the place. The Princess began losing her
patience.
"I want to go beyond that sky.
However, that is impossible. No one is able to do that."
The Hero denied that:
"And I say this, because this Tower is here.
If we climb the Tower further up, we will arrive to a place over the clouds."
And carrying the Princess on her back, the Hero began climbing the Tower.
One day behind other, the Hero continued climbing the Tower.
And even though it looked as if the darkness was not going to clear up at
all, he still continued climbing everyday.
The Princess asked the Hero:
Why do you to take me to the skies, even going as far to do this?"
"That is... because I want to see the sun".
The Princess did not understand the meaning behind these words, but they
worried her a little.
And at the same time, but at the same time, for some reason, it made her
feel a little disheartened
The Hero continue ascending to the top,
and finally, he crossed the dark clouds, and reached the skies.
The sky showed it was night.
And the two walked over the starry sky and the full moon that filled the
entire firmament.
The moon was just before her eyes.
The Princess gave her thanks to the Hero:
"Thank you.
Though I had given up.
But still, why did you lead me here, going as so far to not even think about
giving up?"
"That was because of the many people that live under this sky,
and because, I want to see the sun.
That was what filled me with hope."
However, the Princess still had a question:
"It is because the time for the sun to rise has not come yet."
The Hero, as if he had guessed what the Princess was going to say, he told
her:
"Because, right now, the sun that I was wishing for has appeared in front
of my eyes"
The Princess first put a face that showed that did not understand at all
these words,
but once she realized it, she was taken aback, and her face turned red.
And at the same time, she understood why she felt disheartened back then.
And somehow, she ended being very embarrassed.
And the two of them passed a joyous time, yet short time under the great
full moon.
Beyond the far, faraway other side of the heavens, there was someone that
loved and was worried for the moon.
The name of that Princess was Viena.
Her singing voice would cross the heavens, and reach the place where the
moon is.
Her song nurtured the land, and the crops were abundant and never rot away
again.
And it is said that the people then lived in an eternal happiness.
