I'm late, but here's my take.
Kinematics and Dynamics: Portmanteau of "kinetics" and "mathematics", I literally take as the maths and science involved in motion itself. Dynamics would be somewhere close to that, like the physics behind it.
The four equations of motion:

u = initial velocity
v = final velocity
a = acceleration
a becomes negative if decelerating, and gets substituted with g = 9.8 m/s
2 if gravity takes action.
