A trick I do when I need to regulate my body clock(because I'm sleeping later than usual) is to stay up all night and day and then the next night finally sleep at my desired time. No doubt I'd be so tired that I could fall asleep any moment, that is the hard bit.
Though I wouldn't suggest this since I'm a special case.
