Then, to give the answer. These are two songs from the Musical "Les Miserables" which I recently found out will be made into a movie.

I very much like these musicals, mainly because unlike most mainstream ones, this focuses on the despair of people of old times trying to keep alive. Screw those 80s musicals like Grease, Les Miserables and The Scarlet Pimpernel are my kind of musical.

So I've noticed that the forums have lately been nothing but boring. I wonder if its a cue to leave this or not, I'll leave it for Kei to decide. . . just hopes he'll decide soon, I really can't take any more of this damn boring surveillance. . .

Youtube is flooded with Monty Python skits subbed in Espanol.

Well I think anti-material ammunition probably would have enough power. Also autocannon ammunition would be more than enough. The problem is: Is it practical to use this ammo? (and also that they are not used in handguns)

I saw ceramic plate for additional ballistic defence for 7,62x51mm NATO (I held it in my hands). As far as military grade stuff they're not usually bulletproof vest, but flak-vests (which are not bulletproof) and they may or may not have pouches for additional ballistic protection (e.g. ceramic plates). Police are more prominent users of bulletproof vests.
The most penetrable cartridges I know in handguns are 7.62×25mm Tokarev and FN 5.7×28mm.
As far as rifle cartridges go as I stated above look in anti-material field and maybe even there you might go for more exotic ones like 14.5×114mm
Also .338 Lapua Magnum seems like possible cartridge that could do the trick.

To add on, I would think .454 Casull, while not a practical round, is capable of piercing armour. I also know that back in the 30's, police started using .38 Super when gangsters of the time started wearing body armour, of course armour that time was not as effective as now.

I guess if the question is all body armours like kevlar, ceramics, other para-aramids, polyethylene and monolythic based armour, then I guess you'd have to go with .338 LM and higher. 14.5x114mm is quite the exotic piece but if we were going exotic, I'd take the 20x110mm Hispano.



Anzio 20mm HTI Rifle, largest calibre you'll ever be able to fire from the shoulder. Recoil is amazing on that thing, even with the brake.

Actually, something more practical than that would be the .700 WTF Rifle, which is a single shot bolt-loaded rifle. The calibre itself is astounding and really does deserve the name.. (FYI, WTF does stand for what you think it does)

@Lance, British Army has recently started to do Joint Training with many European countries(On account of most of their military starting to pull out of Afghan, they're starting to focus on ensuring preparedness of other countries), maybe you'll be able to witness a demonstration of their L115A3s if they ever come.
