And on the topic of Special Forces, my favorite are the British Special Air Service. I hope one day to join the Australian regiment of them, the SASR.
And with firearms, I don't really have a favorite but Glock is quite a versatile pick
That's Cool. I wanted to try for URNA that's something of a local SWAT team.
Well about firearms I don't like Glock really much I prefer H&K, USP in good small arm something of a scale-down of SOCOM Mk. 23. I can also be in 9x19mm parra.

That Cúchulainn? Irish man of Light?

@Kei: I'll take your advice about the Glock should I ever need one IRL.
@Anzei:........... In most time, I'll depend on my staff for melee fighting, but for now, this one is my favorite:
Yes, the whip-sword. Versatile enough to mince your enemy from several distance away, but still deadly for close battle.
Not to mention kinda impossible to made IRL. ^^
If you ever consider buying a weapon IRL then go on a shooting range first try some of them and then choose which suits you the best. That's my tip. ;)

Anyway, all this talk about firearms confuses me. Melee weapons anyone?
I particularly like Katanas, as much as possible made out of Tempered steel though not that it exceeds 60 percent. And no, I did not like Katanas because of the troupe, "Katanas are just better".
Yeah IRL I can handle most weapons ever made, exceptions are the more exotic ones.
Swords, spear, staffs, Bo, Katanas, knifes etc. Can handle ^^

Heeeeh, that so?
*dark aura emanates*
I don't think I'd want to live a life that I wouldn't need to use any sort of firearm or weaponry.
Agree. Though Martial arts are nice and interesting life without weapons would be too booring. (LOL comes from a person who is half-Buddhist IRL :D)

So, Kei, what do you think the suitable firearms for a woman to carry?
A suitable firearm for a woman? I think that women are potentially capable of using the same firearms as men do. I do know servicewomen who are in the same brigade as me as well as other servicewomen in other armies and they, obviously, use standard issue firearms.
Although, if I had to say. A Glock is a good pistol of choice, anything light calibre. Maybe even the Jame's Bond famous Walter PPK. If a rifle, probably something light like an XM8 or FN SCAR-L
I agree. There isn't much of a difference if you're not a large caliber fan.
If you don't mind I could sum some recommendations too.
CZ75 may not be state of modern technology (Started producing at 1975), but is regarded even by US military as peak of firearms of it's time.
Walter P99 is also an interesting choice because of it's unusual trigger design.
Since modern warfare is more based on closer range I'd be more in favor of PDWs like Bullpup Magpul PDR, which have similar characteristics as M4 at half size with same barrel Length and ammo (I think even mags).

For victory, everything counts.
And for a true magician, no source of power is inherently good or evil, it is the way you use them and what consequences it brings.
Agree. In my terminology there are four types of magic:
White: Healing and purification
Black: Offensive
Shamanic: Attacking someones in spiritual realm and for rituals and also summoning.
Ancient: Magic used by Dragons, gods or other mythical creatures.
