It shouldn't affect how long does one need to be able to formulate questions. As one of the participants currently, would you wait for questions that you don't even know when will it be posted? With conditions that you only know it will be posted eventually, but you don't know exactly when.

In terms of additional rules for the next batch, I think we're missing quite a bit on rules for the question moderators to follow - what we currently have mostly applies to the participants only. I think we set 9 questions as the bare minimum, and bring over unanswered questions from the previous batch over as well.
Maybe a fanon/canon question ratio as well?

My initial assessment of that question was [False] as well, but given that he mentioned fans could also consider Mystia or Suwako as the first to receive the zettai ryouiki treatment, I decided to let it fly.

She is mischievous. At the start of UFO she wanted to cause some trouble for the ghostly sailor, hence the UFO's then follows the player around dropping free bombs or lives from time to time. Doing this she was unaware of Byakuren's nature. At the end of the extra stage she finds out how Byakuren is towards youkai and feels guilty for causing trouble for them. In the usual setup, new characters do whatever they like until it causes trouble for someone and they lose. Nue does exactly that.



According to 100% accurate fanon, Keine becomes a massive sadist during the full moon. She was harder to deal with in the main game than in extra though. Safe zones + streaming is just too easy.

When doing this ranking how did you rate characters?
Canon/Fanon Personality? Playable attributes? Danmaku creativity/difficulty? Appearance? Other?

I used whatever personality traits I knew primarily. If I didn't know any then danmaku or playable attributes. Then appearance. After that I put "tie".



Too much rabbit is bad for you. You are in a similar position to Eirin. You act as more of a day-to-day official around the club even though the reason the creator RinPe is a shut-in. Its also fits with Eirin-Kaguya since Eirin spells are more annoying than anything while still being weaker than Kaguya who is far more fun to battle. From a fanon perspective I can see you experimenting with people and making odd things to set up various ZanchanXZafhner or HaruneXFoG doujin. Continuing with the analogy I suppose I end up as Mokou, although that would make me dislike RinPe. I don't recall Mokou and Eirin having spoken to each other but I imagine their conservation would go something like ours do. Thats well past your three line minimum, doctor.

My choice is based on the total of the different and particular characteristics that distinguish each character, some of which mentioned above.

Deciding an answer for one question with "In my opinion, it's supposed to be like..." concept doesn't sound like a solid idea to me. Perhaps we should discuss more about this issue sometime in the near future, assuming it becomes a quite important matter. For now, I'm ready to fire my batch of questions in my next post.

:: Now that you mention the usual setup, I just noticed that Byakuren is actually the most innocent out of all last-level bosses, excluding Phantasmagoria of Flower View's. The real actors in UFO were the crews of Palanquin and Nue, Byakuren was only the reward they sought. Maybe this is also why Byakuren lacks the charisma for a higher-up, as shown in Symposium.

:: You read too much fanon goodness. Must be because of the difference in value, I think Keine was much stronger in Extra as I have no recollection about how threatening she was during stage 3.

:: You just had to mention that sad character. It's not her fault that she's been constantly used for fans' stimulating imaginations. If you ask me, she'd be the first or primary target for many of the so-called fans due to her premature popularity.

I think that in the end, it boils down to differences in flexibility. What one moderator thinks is right may be wrong in the eyes of another.

I generally think my fanon questions were poorly made though. I'm not good at making a solid question out of fanon. ( x__x)/

Toyosatomimi no Miko. She was in an similar position as Hijiri. Ironically though Hijiri unwittingly made it look like she was stopping Miko's resurrection by putting her temple in that location. Hijiri is/was a charismatic youkai leader but her revival probably has her trying to assess Gensokyo. On the other hand Miko's natural ability gave her an understanding of events surrounding her resurrection and lets her plan her moves much faster. I wouldn't say Hijiri is innocent, shes just far less informed and ambitious than Miko.

and you two are very impressive. For an additional information, Nitori is also one of the most technology advanced characters in Gensokyo, according to fans' perspective with legit basis. The fact is further supported by Touhou - Nitori Electronics Consumer Catalog pool in Danbooru.



Intentional or not, Miko's revival caused a huge outbreak of divine spirits, which does count as an incident with Miko being the main player. On the other hand, Byakuren was only the reward that's sought by her youkai followers/main players. On topic about Byakuren's decision to prevent the resurrection of Miko; if I recall correctly, Byakuren did place her temple right above Miko's mausoleum since Nazrin informed the former about something incredible that's buried. Byakuren believed that the things were probably dangerous, so she and her followers tried their best to seal it.

I don't think she made a wrong or even careless decision as she only did (her best at that) what she believed is right. By that perspective, I believe calling Byakuren far less ambitious than Miko is an underestimation of her value. To be fair, Byakuren is still an inexperienced nameless monk, just like what Miko implied during the interviews.
