Don't worry, it's not a competition. Even if it was, nobody would flame you just because your drawing's quality is below-standard. When I say it's an art event, it's more like the matter of letting your imagination out along with your creativity. The event itself is only a container.

I was enlightened by a lot of entries in the print work, particularly a few I'm going to mention.Tatara Kogasa; I've always believed her to be someone who's hated around the human village because of her feeding off of human fear (surprise?). It was very... surprising to read on that she's actually quite popular with the children in the human village, and she was actually a pretty common sight there. It's a shame that her entry hasn't been fully translated.
Byakuren Hijiri; Youkai Jesus, as what people usually call her; a calm, devout, almost grandmotherly in temperament... but apparently, no matter her devotion to the Buddhist pillars, she'll never enter her "state of Nirvana" due to her possessing and practicing "evil" magic.

Since my mind were a bit jam-packed with all these writing activities in past few weeks, I figure that I'll start drawing again while I'm having a short rest from my usual storywriting schedule for refreshment.
There's still not much I can do but Imma start from the stuff I'm accustomed to before going on to some unfamiliar parts~
If I start getting much better at it I probably will post up some fanarts here on occasions~

among Ten Desires characters' entries, which one do you like the most and why ?

She is surprisingly simple minded for someone protecting the Mausoleum. Its better to say she acts more whimsical than I originally thought. A lack of interest in material things even though she has that chisel that's like a magical door, a lack of caring for most people, and a fairly short attention span for people, she sounds like someone who has been around for 1000 years or so.
After reading her TD profile, it seems she is always like that. I completely understand why she made a zombie work for her. If it was anyone else I don't think they would have gotten along.

She is a mindless zombie controlled by the paper stuck to her head. She would make for a good form of cheap entertainment. How is that for a better reason?

it fucking blew my mind knowing that fact.
but in another note,because my friend needs some money he sells to me a copy of Ito Life doujin that i think isn't available in any raw doujin yet.
i'll take a pic/scan it later so if it isn't in the net yet,guess it's gonna be my another top must scanned doujin then.

Would you mind to describe how you initially thought of Seiga ? It's always interesting to read others' point of view in regard to your own favorite characters.

I haven't answered myself, though I'm certain people already know that Seiga is my personal favorite among TD casts.
Long before TD is released, people already speculate Kasen's appearance in TD at the 4th stage or more. Kasen is also one of my personal favorites, and that news raised my expectation meter into maximum. In time TD's released, the first live game-through video of TD is available for stream, I watched, I saw a blue-haired unknown girl instead of Kasen, I disappointed. After that, I read said girl's official TD profile in wiki; it said that she is actually a (wicked) hermit, much to my joy since it's like ZUN's answer regarding the speculation.
I've been attracted to her ever since that. Given that she is a wicked hermit and her method of 'using' her own subject (Yoshika) is quite 'brutal', I've always been thinking of her as an evil person (although proven wrong later since she is actually only ambitious, evil is only an overstatement). Personality-wise, I like that ambitious side of hers. Appearance-wise, just look at her outfit, it's clearly based from 'angel' in japaneses' folklore, that's simply great.
In short, I like how she is depicted as a wicked hermit while she has a beautiful face and 'holy' outfit. She is just like a wolf in sheep's clothing. I'm glad Symposium doesn't deny anything that I've been believing about her.

because: can't explain well but i just felt happy as i was learning about her nature and origins...
And the most interesting reading was Soga no Tojiko as it revealed relations with Futo and Miko.

Must kill it". Only after reading Symposium and her character profile did I form any kind of opinion about her. I think Seiga has the most interesting backstory of the new TD characters.

If time permits me I plan to end my current Touhou fanfic around August or September, there will be about 18 chapters in total as I estimate it...there might be slight changes in number of chapters tho~

Our club provides sources for both (recommended) fanmades and official literature that you could use for references, you might want to check the first/second post to increase your knowledge.
