Every public event he stumbled in like a zombie, he couldn't eat and he's been talking about how his health has been deteriorating. He pushed himself cause RWBY was his baby, it was going to be his moment on the stage after decades in waiting and now he's fucking dead. God this is terrible, if it was just two more months I could have laughed this off as an April Fool's. I hope his family is doing well, he's got around six siblings and his wife...this is just awful.
Nooo why so much talent so much character gone in an instant...
I'm thankful he at least had people that cared for him there when he died, but no one deserves to die from diseases/allergies/viruses.
But serious, this guy is damn talented - he used to animate all the major fight scenes in RvB season 9 on his own, even up through season 10 (maybe 11)? and not sure if he had help with season 12.
We will never forget you, even if our ungrateful, bratty descendants ask us "who the fuck is that?"
I watched the live podcast they did in remembrance of him yesterday, it was really sad at the end because you could tell they all wanted to cry (Jeff (RWBY Composer), Gus, Burnie, Matt)
