I'm not good with drawing, but I may be able to make a sound logo for us. I'm currently trying to come up with a sound logo for the "company" I'm working with for the VN, and it's kinda fun.

[font=verdana][color=green]My opinions on the dubs:

Naruto - Haven't watched it, but it's still decent. Seeing how popular it is, it had to be.

Higurashi - I actually didn't like this dub much; but they did have very good laughs and "evil tones"

Death Note - Brilliant dub. The guy who voiced L was bought in especially.

Bleach - Same as Naruto; it had to be good. One my favourite voice-actors was in the cast too; Liam O'Brien.

Haruhi - Wendee Lee comes in to be Haruhi; suggests the quality of the cast here.

FullMetal Alchemist - Ed's voice annoyed me, but I did like Maes Hughes voice.

Planetes - Haven't watched this series, but it seemed fine. From what I've heard, I could happily watch the dub all the way through.

One Piece - Go to Naruto and Bleach for opinions of cast.

DragonBall Z - When I watched it when I was younger, I never realised it was anime. That suggests how good this dub is; Vegeta's voice actor is 100x better than the Japanese counterpart...it's got a certain gruffness to it that that Japanese one can't muster.

DragonBall Kai - Not as good as DragonBall Z. Some cast had to be changed and the orignal cast members weren't as good as before, as they had slipped out of their roles.

Cowboy Bebop - Just a brilliant dub. Nothing more needs to be said; one of the best dubs you'll likely see. Apart from:

Baccano! - He commented on this in the video; and rightly so. The accents of the different characters can just be appreciated more in this than the Japanese one ever did. This is one that definitely highlights that, when a dub is done right, it's so much better than the original.

Gotta admit, even the german Cowboy Bebop dub was good...

Ok, you guys, I'm making a bit of headway into our sound logo, and I need your voices. Record yourself saying "Voices of Eden" in whatever way you wish. If you can make several versions, that would be great!

[font=verdana][color=green]Seeing as Circe posted an English Dub for anime, I decided to root out two of my favourite voices the game industry; Kessler and Cole McGrath for the InFamous series. The gruffness of them both is very hard to emulate - I know, I've tried very hard to get Kessler's voice; impossible for me - as well as the way they talk as well; they talk for some words then have very heavy stress on another word, slowing the whole conversation down.

Here's the best clip I have found of the voices. The beginning has a slight conversation between the two of them, but before the fight begins, you'll understand what I mean about the way they talk. Please let me know what you think of these voices:

@Sammy: Both of them are amazing, mhm. IT'S SO GAR.
@Jacky: I still don't see it. Or maybe I do, but since I can't tell most sans-serif fonts from each other, I don't see the difference.

My favourite game VA is Ellen McLain, hands down. I mean, GLaDOS is simply epic, and she also did the Announcer in the Half-Life and TF2 games. She rocks, basically. A very close second is Jennifer Hale, who did Fem!Shep, Samus, Naomi Hunter, Bastila Shan, and many many others.

On the male side, I loooooove Keith David. He does Captain Anderson in the ME games, among other things. And we can't forget the sometimes "huh?"-inducing Mark Hamil, who portrayed one of the most iconic heroes EVAR, but went on to voice some of the most evil villains, including the Joker and Firelord Ozai.

Yuri Lowenthal. The only person who can talk Total Idiot and Badass at the same time

Anyway, I just found out about this hilarious dub. Basically the original Japanese version did terrible in the ratings; we're talking the lowest of barrels being scraped here. So, in order to get a western company to buy a license to release it in the US, they allowed the company full discretion of the script - only the names had to stay the same. The result...well...is just about the most hilarious anime I have ever seen. It completely changes the script, bringing in humour we're more accustomed to, rather than the usual eye-roll-inducing Japanese humour. It's crude. Takes no prisoners. Love it.
