Waifu Game 12 Changes

None of the rules stated up to this point are for sure going to be part of this game, I'm open suggestions and I might steal an idea or two from TMS but for the most part I'm going to base a lot of what we use on the last waifu game I hosted. I might add NTR rules but only for people who opt into it, anyone who doesn't cant have their waifu stolen. That should effectively turn this into two games, the traditional "waifu game" and the "your waifu is mine game".

[color=#006FFF]Just to say, I'm down for the reduction to 3 claims; 'makes it so people are more selective with them. Pair that with the "no divorcing" (or at least 1-2 divorces max) rule and people would be even more invested in making their 3 claims count.

'Probably in the minority for liking the change from 5-6 claims to 3 but I like how it forces the players to prioritize and actually choose between potential claims. The group/set rule allowing players a sixth claim could return but it'd just make it so the people involved were allowed a 4th bonus claim (as opposed to a 6th, obviously).

No divorce rule actually seems good.

I'm ok with just the ol' plain 5 waifu game basically. I was just going to steal the three just because of the all or nothing one post win them all claim rule stated earlier. It's not like i can claim my first choice since i already told m00se he can have her back.

[color=#ff69b4]Maybe if we do get divorces there should be a way where you can lose them, like if you get a invested claim do to someone getting the character before you why not make so that he/she well lose a divorce? Or maybe if you put in a Rule check like Jack did for his game, if you did not post the rule check in your claim or in a topic for the game before hand that could be a way where you could lose one as well.

I feel like this could be good rule as it could help cut down on people all trying to get the big character of the season, like characters from No Game No Life who i see being really big picks for a lot of people seeing how it was one of the best anime to air this season next to things like Black bullet.

Why it is fun and funny to see all post the post of everyone trying to claim that one character it can also be very annoying to see 5-7 post all trying to claim one character in a row when you are trying to find out if your claim was valid or not, this was just something that came to mind and i think it could be a good rule.

Also, put a rule check in like Jack did.

As long as the host doesn't have to finish every show that has a set.

That rule was a terrible experience for me.

[color=#ff69b4]I don't see why it would, with a bit of good research, and maybe some help from the people are part of the set it should not take long to find out what is a set and what is not.

I have a lot of down time so I would be willing and happy to help out the host with it, and I'm sure waynoinsano would help out a bit as well when he has some free time and is not working on the list.

It's pretty dependent on the host I'd say. Not sure if others' helps would actually be accepted from other players (I wouldn't if I was the host; to confirm it for sure myself). That's the kinda rule it is, it needs thorough verification which may be rather irritating for those waiting on it.

Sounds good for you, but not so much for me. A matter of opinions I guess.

But yes- I did vastly underestimate the practically encyclopedic knowledge that I'd require to make that rule work.


However- I think the self-policing from other players helped quite some.

Well I am glad it was a big ruse, since I was out of the house yesterday. I am glad to see Waar hosting again. How long has it been? 3 games?
