Waifu Game 12 Changes

I was really looking forward to TMS running the show.

I don't like sets, nor do I like the idea of trading with others, this is not about cooperation, nor do I think people with more friends should have better chances to get who they want.

I'm also not going to add a rule check, why would I want less people trying to win big name characters?

The only inconvenience is that people annoy me a bit with claims they cant make due to rules, and someone always quickly reminds them why their claim is invalid.

I like some of the things Jack did but overall he took the game in a direction I had not planned for. Had Jack not been a temp replacement due to art being dumb I would have stayed out of it and would have let the game go for good(as I had intended for art).

Before people keep suggesting things I want to remind people of my goal; I want more people to play, I want people to climb over the corpses of their friends and enemies on the way to claiming their beloved waifu. New gimmicks are great but if they get away from those goals I will not be adopting your idea. Keep them coming but try to keep that in mind while thinking about it.

[color=#993300]Select a few series and only let claims be from those series, those who can't claim a waifu are out of luck for the round

Make it no divorces and start it with the new season so everyone can suffer for picking characters they new nothing about.

What about rare/uncommon series? A round only for them?



If you want more people playing Waar, not putting a put a high post requirement would help.

My idea was something like... only waifus from the last season may be claimed for a round or two.

That idea of no rounds, just rapid-fire claims, seems like a great way to incite more vigor and rage into people, though my issue with that idea is that it'd make the game too short. It'd be interesting to see how it'd play out, though.
It'd seem like it'd run more smoothly if there was a smaller limit on waifus, though maybe that could be arranged, or it could be two rounds of up to three waifu at a time, if the max remains at five.

Just tossing it out there.

If you want more ruthless, here's a few.

-If several people claim the same character- the one with the higher post count/seniority/rep/whatever wins.

-To a maximum of 6, the number of years you've been on site is the number of waifus you can have. Yes, this also applies to lurkers.

-Or, so the Achievements in our profiles aren't entirely useless, the number of achievements you have determine your number of allowable waifus.

-NTRs can be done to anybody, from anybody. Some newb can NTR a guy who's been here ever since Fakku was created- the only factor is a majority vote. If it's a tie- it's decided by the host with a coin flip.

-Five rounds (if we adhere to the standard). Five days during the work week.

That would not change much in terms of how the game is played, people would just pick their popular girls the next week. The only way this could make it more exciting is if I announced it when I unlocked the thread, causing people to misfire their first picks.



Same problem, plus would make the first round boring as fuck.



Think about idea to make the game more exciting, not restrict more.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to lower to min count to 50 or remove it altogether.

That might be a bit ridiculous for some of us. I would have 7 now and there's a whole bunch of them I could get if I put 10 seconds into it. I'm not hosting 14 rounds of the waifu game.
