See, this guy is one step closer to running the waifu game correctly.
No stupid shit like Bakemanatogotiritori, no Toradora or Durarara, no Ika Musume or Bleach or Naruto, and especially no Clannad.
Only Gundam.

So for realsies though, I suggest keeping the NTR rule with some amendments. Instead of using the rep system to determine it, use number of games participated in for determination. It would give a big benefit to the folks who have been playing for a long time. Plus, NTR is always about those old crusty fuckers stealing the girls away right?
Keep the number of waifus you can claim at 5, and at the end of Round 5 folks can start doing their NTR bits. If the targeted player does not respond within 6 hours, then the NTR is good. BUT!! If you choose to NTR and are successful, you automatically lose all your other waifus.

I want to keep the NTR rule, trust me. It will get implemented, but it needs to be refined. To address what you said:
Keep the number of waifus you can claim at 5, and at the end of Round 5 folks can start doing their NTR bits. If the targeted player does not respond within 6 hours, then the NTR is good. BUT!! If you choose to NTR and are successful, you automatically lose all your other waifus.
1. Yes, I did think of letting more experienced players able to NTR, but I want more people to play this game as well. Let it grow every time. So I want to refine that in a way that new people are still encouraged to try. I was thinking along the lines of, play more games, be able to NTR and what not, so that it works in the long run by letting new players keep playing future games.
2. That... not only sounds extreme, but also doesn't make too much sense. So if the NTR move is successful, you gain the target's waifu, but lose all your own?

Only issue I have with the NTR rule is the fact that if the person works alot, then they're pretty screwed if someone NTR's them. Like me for example.

Like me for example.I do want the NTR bit to be optional and what not. If some people don't want to, or are unable to take part in it, they can be exempt. Not sure of a fair wait to make it, however.

I think it should be more like, you lose one of your waifus to NTRing someone else's waifu successfully.

Just trying to balance it out. If I was going to put the NTR clause into the new game, I'd try and make it a little even, because you're getting a shot at ANY waifu in the game.

In regards to NTR, I think everybody should be able to do it if the rule is going to exist. Something like: you have 4 waifu claims and an NTR and a single Waifu can only be NTR'd twice. Also it should be possible to block so there is a disadvantage if it fails (namely you'll have 4 Waifus instead of 5). I think we need less rules that favour older users because it's important to attract new users. Not that there shouldn't be any, I just can't think of one to suggest.

At the very least every player should be entitled to one waifu that they can choose to be unNTRable.
