Waifu Game X - News/Discussion

I find it funny that a major point of Waifu Game X was to bring new people in to play and that Waifu game XI's seems to want to take all those new players and exile them. I'd feel bad to not be able to participate, even though I feel I've made at least a bit of an impression on the community (at least I think I have.).

And a bit of me being the devils advocate here, but with the 100 post count we have now, have we really had any "newbie spam" that would show the necessity of a higher requirement? I'm not saying there wasn't any--I would likely not have paid attention for such instances--but I just want to know if it's less about just making the rules like they used to be and more of it being something that is actually needed.

EDIT: Also, I understand that you're still fine-tuning things, so if you'd rather not say anything on the subject just yet, that's fine.

pacific daylight or pacific standard? I want to know because one of them would mean staying up until 2am which I'm not a huge fan of doing.

Tell me when you want your front page post and I would suggest doing that sooner rather than later, so people can prepare.

Adjusting some things so that many of last games new players will still be able to play this time also, since I realise how much it would suck to be eligible and then suddenly not be.

I should have the rules set up today. There won't be much to look into, but it'd be in everyone's best interest to read them thoroughly- since there may be minor details that would otherwise be easy to miss.



It's Standard Time now. PDT begins around March/April.



That's why the winter games are usually held around Christmas.

And I think a large number of twenty-somethings stay up 'till about 4-5 a.m., anyhow.

So what time zone was it again? are you gmt -8:00? if so thats 2 off from me so it will be 2pm here and I will be at work.

We should remove the minimum post requirement rule and make a bigass front page post, make it sound like the FAKKU game is the only relevant waifu game on the internet.

I think we've already done this once.

Since it's Jesus's Birthday and all that, I'll keep the post count to 100.

Actually- my mistake, I've been doing a lot of moving around- I've actually been in Mountain Time(GMT -7) for the past week.

So that'll be:

2-3 Tahiti/Cook Island
4-5 Pacific
5-6 Mountain
6-7 Central
7-8 Eastern
12-1AM Greenwich
5:30-6:30AM India Standard
8-9AM Singapore




There will be a rule for that. Some shall qualify, or perhaps none.

Make sure when you start the new game thread that you post any new rules in your opening post. Im pretty sure you know that already but it never hurts to say it anyway
