Usually the first thing that attracts me is the art...if it looks good then i'll check it out everything else comes after that. If there is a good story then that's great but if not it's no big deal as long as there are hot chicks i'm good lol

Second is the tropes, Overused tropes are risky and only turn good if played right.
Last one is Plot, hentai manga can still have a story that's interesting to read, I'm such a huge fan of Yamatogawa's books because he often does great stories.

I like most themes, fetishes, and what not in hentai. The only ones that I don't really like are loli and pettanko. Rarely do I find a pettanko manga that I like. I tend to prefer kyonuy and bakunyu art styles, though some of those are too ridiculous and over the top for me too.

The doujin has to have good art with a bit of detail, I don't really care for plot. I would say my main focus would be the facial expression on the characters.... If the artist nails that field, then for me he has done an excellent Job :).
