I used to read longer doujins with a story and good art. IMO if you're going for porn, dont do generic. There is such a open market with multiple artists that need support and relying on the same copy/paste art and dialogue is just boring.

attracts me to read? the quality of art and story-- back when i first found this sight i was an aspiring mangaka--a random art of kisaragi gunma lead me this site and hes prob one of my favorite still today. i think the best ive read story wise was the otaku from 10,000 bc-- pretty interesting.

What attracts me to them?:
