I won't find anything like that here in the land of the Great Wall of Mexico.

You can if you leave the city. Ghetto studio apt go for 575$ in the fresyes. 450 sqft. 1bd 1bath joints 650 to 795$. My 2000sq ft studio in downtown fresno was 900$ a month in 2006. That was before the fucking gentrifying hipsters invasion. That won't even get a hallway now unless you get a shit warehouse rental.

I don't live in the city...

I live in outskirts of the suburbs of a town that's not even named Portland.

So basically, I'm stuck with inglorious rent prices for no reason other than "upgrades are being done and new management".

Though, I pretty much already explained all of this earlier, so at this point I'm wasting my breath.

I pay 540 USD for a 30 square meter apartment including water, heating and internet.



It's however only intended for students and it's in an urban area.

Counting rent, internet and electrical bill (water and heating is free) I pay around 460USD for a 42 square meters 1 room apartment with a kitchen.

Wait sq ft or sq m? Because the former is really really small. 4ft l by 5ft w or 1.22m l by 1.5w.

I fucked up square meters

Cashier/Self Check Out person at a grocery store...not the best of jobs but at least the pay is nice.

Those are the perks of living in a small city of 32,000 people.
