Just watched the first Tayu Tayu episode.
I am happy they kept Yamatogawa's style of art.
I am
NOT happy at how jerky the animation feels. It's like someone took solid chunks of colored areas (like the girl's head, for example), and decided to just tilt the entire thing ON ONE AXIS -- it makes it look... puppety.
Bottom line; animation doesn't feel natural -- Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro is much better (animation-wise).
I hold out hope that this changes in the second OVA.
I know this may sound strange, but do the people who create hentai really care about how "fluid" the animation is?
Obviously some of them do, because sometimes you get stuff like Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo, and sometimes you get stuff like the art in Tayu Tayu.
No joke; it looks like they took some pages directly from the manga and said "Okay, move her head, and don't move any of the rest of her body at all. Don't even move her neck."
Unless you were making a bad joke, in which case, IDK.
