I think the only way one can accept NTR as "classy" is if the story is portrayed as netori instead of netorare. Yeah, it's still messed up for even a more sympathetic protagonist to do the wife-stealing, but at least its not as likely to invoke horrific disgust as some fugly middle aged creeper or some other obvious bad guy.

The man NTRing is usually an asshole who had a big dick and rapes the woman he's obsessed with. The woman is a whore because she will usually continue to fuck him even after being raped because his dicks just too good (or rather she's just a slut/nympho). The innocent male in this scenario may have his small dick issues, impotency or idk actually working hard for his family, but regardless doesn't deserve this Jerry Springer worthy shit.
