Yes. This is the main thread. The other threads are mostly for posting yandere materials in their respective sections. I am not sure whether I will also do the same on the music and anime-related stuffs. Anyway, that would come when the need arises. Do you want to join on this club? Hmm.. It is not that I like her more than the other Yandere no Onna girls. She is the only one that has more fanarts and fan videos. In fact, Madoushi S is constantly making fanarts of her which I find pretty much amusing. If you are talking about yandere girls in general, no, I have no particular favorite among them.

I would actually enjoy the club, I always enjoy a good breakdown of a yandere of course the devotion as well. So I would like to join.
you know on the CD I have to say I enjoyed the twin named... Elisa, to break the familial code as she did and not kill the guy was quite nice, and felt better than the others. But it was because of breaking the familial code that I enjoyed more than the guy living, it's rarely used afterall. Funny how it was self-esteem issues. Also I do like blue eyes, and the brown hair.
Also a decent into madness show a dynamic character progression rather than a static character, which I can't stand in general.

Elisa? Do you perhaps meant Elise Sakuronomiya? I honestly have not listened to it yet, or maybe I have, I just forgot about it. Anyway, why did she did not kill the guy? Her appearance and personality reminds me of Ryuuguu Rena from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. They may seem docile outside but can get really bad once they snapped.
Yes. I know that feeling. I find it more interesting to see a character deviated from the other stereotype groups. Though, I think some character may possess two or more traits, since these terms are only a label for their personality. It all ends up on analyzing whether what exactly is the character's dominant personality.

Far from Rena, as she was more 'human' with jealousy and self-esteem. We were never given info on what Rena thought of herself.
She snapped when she found that the guy and her sister 'hugged', (they may have had sex with each other before they hugged it seems implied but it was of course told by a yandere.) As her sister was interested in him but they were already 'together' (but there was no mention of any dates) it did mention that her sister helped Elise get with him at first ebcause of low self-esteem. So then she broke herself and in a rage she went to her sisters room with a weapon and yelled at her at first it escalated quickly, her sister tried to run and failed, she was then cut, blood spewed out it seems, and that is all she wrote.
Afterward she went on a date with the dude. Roughly that is what I remembered. Lesson taught, self-esteem is dangerous.
Also, Becoming the Bull by Atreyu I feel can be associated with the story.
Hopefully it wasn't too hard to read.

I agree. Their eyes are perhaps the smile too make up their yandere appearance.
Noted. Though, I quite disagree on the lacking of information regarding Rena's self-reflection. I am very sure the sound novel was very much informative and detailed on every character's personality and history which includes Rena's character. I don't know about the anime because I raged quit. Seriously. I am very disappointed because the anime missed various scenes that were included on sound novel. That is only my own opinion, though.
Okay. I think I understand the gist of it. So, in the end, she still killed someone, her sister that is.
I have a question for you, the other members can answer too or express their own opinion. Does a character necessarily need to kill in order to be attributed as a yandere?

Hmm, yes. I think that is often associated with yandere. The target character often gets scared of whatever is the yandere's act of affection.
All the question and answer arcs of the sound novel are fully translated into English. If you are a Higurashi fan, you should at least try to play it. It is far better than the anime.
About Rena. Yet again, I stand to my belief that she is a yangire because of that certain thing (spoilers). The only certain yandere character on that anime is Sonozaki Shion. I am not sure if Takano Miyo counts as one.

I think we are missing a crucial element here. There should be a subject of intense affection (love). Not solely sexual affection because it is quite misleading. It seems like yandere characters are depicted with a somewhat terrible past which led them to seek the care of their subject of affection, in accordance with their beliefs and ideals, or better yet, standards. Let us say for example, a yandere believes that the guy must not be allowed to have any contacts on his phone because she thinks it as an act of infidelity which she might have experienced in her life. Those standards will then make the degree of one's yandereness.

Female dominance (femdom) is mostly associated to yandere characters because of their aggressiveness towards their beloved. Of course, there is this docile side that needs to be present on them (dere) on which they are willing to give you anything even to the point of giving their sanctity for you. In this context, I am referring to the "yan" (sick, psychotic) side of their personalty. Based on the yandere materials that I have read and watched, femdom is usually present during their yan mode such as killing their competitors or their beloved, sexual dominance (rape, constraining the character(s), nailing their hands and feet), and manipulation (e.g. hypnosis, financial sabotage - in order to persuade their subject of affection or to eliminate their competitors).
The definition of yandere is not solely limited to the aforesaid methods and characteristics because their craziness knows no boundaries. I personally think the most common among these is through murder because it really happens in reality. Heartbreak may result to Major depressive disorder (MDD). All of us can accommodate a particular level of stress and we have our own ways on how to relieve it. If it becomes too much for the person to handle, he might resort to eliminating the source of stress. It has something to do physically and psychologically.
About Rena.

This might look complex, but it is actually pretty simple. There is really no exact or even a legal definition of love. It depends on how the person perceives love physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Now, let us go in the context of yandere. Just like what I have said, each person has his own definition of love, so the yandere just expresses her love in a way she knows how, with or without the consideration of the feelings of her subject of affection. He probably does not agree with how she treats him, but he can't do anything about it because it is "her act of expressing love". What makes it different then to other dere types? The extent, degree, and the craziness of such acts. This is better explained through an example. It is normal for a typical girl to text her boyfriend every once in a while. In the case of a yandere girl, this can go overly excessive such as sending 5 messages every minute, 300 messages per hour. Do you consider that normal? That is a yan (crazy) dere (love) way of showing her affection.
Yuno is a yandere. No doubt. She was even termed as the "yandere queen" because of that. Just like the Higurashi series, it has been ages since I last read the whole manga. Actually, I have not finished watching the anime yet because I'm waiting for Coalgirls to sub the BD releases which, up until now, is still halted for some unknown reason. It is really annoying. I might use Final8's version instead. Anyway, going back. As far as I could remember in the story, Yuno looped back many times on alternate dimensions in order for her to be with Yukiteru despite knowing the fact that his death is inevitable. The space-time continuum is gradually getting collapsing along with the world because Deus Ex Machina is dying. In the first world, at the end of the last battle, Yuno and Yuki were the last standing ones. They both decided to commit double-suicide by swallowing poison pills but Yuno did not swallow it leaving Yuki the only one dead. (The most logical reason I perceive this is she thought that she could manipulate time in order for her and Yuki to live alone together for eternity). However, Deus Ex Machina's revelation to Yuno struck her that the dead people cannot be brought back to life. Due to this sudden realization, Yuno uses her powers to travel back in time to when Yuki was still alive, crossing the border from her world into the Second, and then the same shit happens again. The whole story can be summed up in three words. (Time-leaping yandere).

But the problem with most yanderes is that there is only so much that they can do, the first the usually do is offer their bodies, Actually there are different type of loves. One for family, friends, spouse, items, and hobbies it is mainly used to separate the different loves. The reason she express her love this way is because she no longer considers the rules of the society, in essence she/he is free of societies no's and can kill and dominate the subject without questioning after all the world is the true insane one to them, correct? A good quote could be used here. The subject can't do anything because she/he has forsaken society. The subject is ruled by societies rules therefore all that the yandere does is wrong. I hate tsundere (all I can say about the other dere). everyone has there on status of normal we can't define a universal normal, considering wealth and other issue. There for the yandere can make up there own normal and it still not be normal.

Yes. Yandere do not conform to the norms of society as long as they could be with their beloved that's why they won't hesitate to take drastic measures just to achieve their goal. I do understand the different types of love. It is already given that is should be an intense love that exhibits the yandere traits. Can a dog be a yandere? Possibly if the dog seemed to act like one. However, humans have the broader ability to express their emotions and utilize their thinking ability more than the other forms of living things, so such cases on other beings are extremely rare. Can a person be yandere towards a particular object? Possible again if he exhibits the yandere traits. If the person resorts to crazy methods just to preserve that object, then the person might be called a yandere. Though, I have not encountered anything like that yet. (LOL. Love for an android or robot.)
I believe the characters' personality in the three alternate worlds are all the same, ceteris paribus - with all other things being equal or held constant. However, Yuno had jumped to the second world and killed the other Yuno before that second Yuno became a true yandere or show her yandere side. With that, there is already a disruption of space-time continuum. What does it mean? It is called the causality of events. We can also apply Schrödinger's cat experiment on this context. Just in case you don't know it yet, I already made a summary of it so I'm just going to use paste that here.

Anyway, going back to Mirai Nikki. So, Yuno's action probably affect the whole thread of events in the second world (which might also be the reason why the outcome of events in the end are different than the first world). Do you remember the scene where Yukiteru opened that "door" which drastically changed the future of all the diaries? It is a sort of disruption of space-time continuum. In other words, the second Yuno can be considered a yandere too without the intervention of the first Yuno.

When one becomes a yandere there personality changes what would X do to the yandere S she or he would have probably killed the crazy S. Like you said there are several possibilities. Of course in aniworld it's all dictated by the author, but it still neat to think how one would change something.
Can't say much on the last paragraph I forgot some stuff including that scene in the serious, couldn't take the weak protagonist a second time.

Realistically, it is very hard for something to achieve perfection because time constantly changes. Time changes and everything also changes. What you see as perfect might not be considered as one over time such as law, ideology, or a system because for the human needs differ every time depending on the circumstances. It is a dynamic course that we need to accustom ourselves.
Putting aside the time factor, perfection is very subjective. Let us say for instance - beauty. You see yourself beautiful in every angle and aspect but this is just on your own perception with disregard. What about people's perception on you? You may look good or bad in their eyes.
Why am I telling you all of these? It is because no one can be good at everything. There is universally considered perfect considering different factors. Maybe you are looking for a unique one, aren't you? I also like a unique one that have different tricks up her sleeve.
Yandere is only a label to one's personality, and the same goes for other stereotypes. I am personally having a hard time analyzing one's character because there is no definite criteria on the dere types. Seriously.
Yes. It all depends upon the author's discretion. I prefer if the author makes several plot twists. It would be enjoyable.

ANYONE can become a yandere. Though, some people have higher tendencies to become one, yet again, due to their life experiences. Uhmm.. I cannot clearly understand your question, but I'm assuming it is about when will a yandere begins to totally snap? Well, if the yandere had exhausted every means to achieve his goal but still failed to do so, then it calls for drastic measures - commonly through murdering the hypotenuse or even his beloved.
