a new laptop and other accessories!

in contrast of my other thread.

i need a new laptop and other random shit to enhance PIMP it out!
the price limit is around $700-$800 for the laptop ($900 is barely breaking the limit)

anybody got any good recommendations?

Oh god, please don't get a mac unless you can actually use the damn GUI (graphical user interface). I hate Apple products with a passion. I'd think you're better off with a HP model. Toshiba and Vaio are also recommended.

What do you need the laptop for?

If you don't mind going up to about $1,000, then I'd recommend getting an ASUS M51 Series laptop.

It has a 15" screen, 4GB RAM, 250GB Memory, a very strong Wifi and Bluetooth antenna, and for the CPU the Intel Duo Core Processor T8300. It also has a built-in webcam and microphone.

It's apparently powerful enough to play Crysis (I don't know from experience, I don't feel like buying it just to see), but the laptop will get fairly hot the first few times you use it, and the battery runs out fairly quickly. (But it also recharges quickly, so not much down time there.)

Good processor Nvidia graphics card 3Gs ram great screen, & a amazing case design check out the gallery of it. This is also the 1 i'm buying to replace my old laptop.

I like that Acer but i'm not a fan of big screens on laptops. 15 inches for laptops is where i draw the line.
