All these newfangled users with their indecent threads and..

I've noticed a changing of the guard around the forums here.
I know we have a huge amount of newer users posting, but I have an unfounded suspicion some of the older ones aren't posting as much.

I don't know, call me crazy.


What do you all think? Were you lurkers who just came out of the woodwork? Are there less quality threads to post on nowandays?

No, this is pretty much the cycle fakku has always had... 10% old fag 90% newfag, most of which don't stay and those that do become oldfags and replace my fallen brethren. Perhaps due to the larger amount it just seems that way...

Post quality has degraded, but it's as much our fault as it is theirs... we allowed it to become this bad by not caring for a long time...

I rarely post anymore due to the new userbase. Or something.

I just don't see that many interesting threads anymore, and almost all the time when I do stumble into one, there are 5+ pages of Socio/Religious/Politico/Technological discussion that I need to wrap my head around, all while making notes and rebuttals to posts until I eventually say "Fuck it", close notepad, and not post.

I guess that's just too bad then...

And, while it has saved us from the zombie apocalypse...apocalypse, I think the whole necrobump thing has become impractical.
Especially with your five page epics, I think some threads need to just re-incarnate.

So far I only see most people in the chat thread which is really the only good place now.

It's basically Random Squad Thread 3.0 or whatever number they're up to now.

It's pointless for most users to visit the chat thread. It has a ton of pages, and it's fast as all hell. If I post in it and check the thread three hours later, I have to sift through three pages of new posts (at least). Plus, it's almost like its own little club, with a lot of inside jokes and stuff that people who don't post in it won't understand.

As for it being the "only good place," that's only true if all you want is inane chatter about nothing. If you want to have even a semi-serious discussion about anything, you have to look elsewhere.

Fakku's post quality is still a lot better then say Niho's or Sakurahana's. Also we are WAY MORE GAR. I am not just saying that for us to sound cool either. I have to look away from Sakura sometimes because the way they talk makes me sick it's so sweet and loving. Fakku is still >>>> to everything else out there that has our user base size.

I lol'd. Yes that is still better. At least we don't marry each other here on Fakku. They do that on Niho and I am not joking. I will take teh spam introduction thread everytime over a bunch of users having in their sigs or siggy as they call it on Niho and Sakura. "My hubby is such and such." I luff him very much :3 <3 *add sparkles and flying dragons*

EDIT: Before anyone says it I do remember Ero's or someones marry me thread but it's on another level at Niho. Another world would probably be better.
