It's not really fair to criticize Niho for having users "marry" each other when a ton of people on Fakku are "marrying" anime girls. They're both harmless cases of fun (though one does seem more creepy than the other . . . and I am talking about marrying other users. That shit is stalker-esque.)

Anyways, I don't think post quality has diminished that much here at Fakku. It's all just perception. There may not be as many posts, but it's not like 90% of all posts are shit. Anyone who disagrees is free to show that now, a lot of posts suck, while months ago, most posts were superb, but I doubt anyone can do that.

well I haven't been on at all due to the crap in my life but I am going to start posting more and try to be on as much as possible.

I think all the rise of new users is because of Fakku's new update. The rate of new users signing on will lessen as time goes by and the oldfags will still be around... being faggoty...

Good then all is well except that thread. It is a abomination and needs to be destroyed. Do something about it PD. Lock it by convincing them it's for the "greater good." If we ever become a Niho I will leave forever or at least be there even less then I am now. As long as someone doesn't start a clubs thread/section we are still within the safe zone.

Ignoring stupid posts is a lot easier then ignoring power trip/egocentric/asshole oozing targeting threads.

Apparently the opposite is easier to ignore for the majority.

When I step into a completely stupid thread, my mind goes blank and usually I have nothing to say, so I don't. Unlike most people who post pictures of witty sayings and crank up the post count for absolutely no reason.

I know everyone says, just ignore the user - but everybody seems to struggle with that. If the said person doesn't get a reaction, then there's hardly a reason for him to create another action.

kind of a "practice what you preach" situation eh? Giving people what they want never turns out well on the internets.

our threads now are more cause the majority are bored and want to put something up but back then we actually wanted to be here and were literally curious about each other and i think that is what made it all so interesting, so all we have to do is put a little more heart into our threads and or posts that we do actually post.
i do miss some of my old fakkuza tho. i left for a bit and come back for some r and r here and there and so do some of the other fakkuza oldies but some have just got on the bus with elvis and left the building... sadly....

Aw, come on. You have to admit that that was an epic quote chain. JC and I were surprised it took that long for someone to end it. Really, none of those posts should count. I wouldn't mind having the postcount I earned in that thread taken away if it was at all possible.


Anyway, back on topic. I know that my lack of posting was due to to sheer laziness (and I really don't like to post unless I have something witty to say.) and I would imagine that there are many other people who do the same thing.

I know this (and many other reasons for decrease in post quality and oldfag activity) has been said before but the reason I personally and several others aren't too active on the forums is because we spend our time in IRC where if we see normal noob style bs we can just kick them out and not have to listen to them (I think von might hold the record on being kicked/banned).

I admit that the reason I didn't stop you guys sooner was due to the lulz. When you started breaking the forums I figured I should step in (before Jacob does).
